Zeta P2's unique undercutting feature creates slots for self-locking connectors
The Zeta P2 does everything that a standard biscuit jointer does and more, with an undercut function unique to Lamello that allows for the fitting of special concealed Clamex P connectors that slide into the T slot produced. It does this with a special vertical mechanical drive (VMD) that engages when the joiner is at full plunge, moving the cutter up and down in one full revolution before disengaging to produce the T-slot. The new P-System depth adjuster has 5 settings for the ever growing range of Clamex connectors.
The undercut function can be switched off to create a plain 7mm slot to accept Lamello's Bisco plastic alignment biscuits. By installing a 4mm cutter, the Zeta P2 Cordless Biscuit Joiner can function as a standard biscuit joiner and cut slots for wooden biscuits.
As with all Lamello products, design and build are of the highest quality. Other features include precise plunge with clear depth setting and jointer fences with flush sides to make positioning simple; the fence fits with V grooves for accuracy and clear angle scale.
